Season’s Greetings
Dear Knights, Dames, Squires, Damsels and friendly Orders,

On behalf of the Government of our State and of the structures of our Sovereign Order, I have the honor and the pleasure of presenting to all our most sincere Greetings for the coming Season. In fact, in the disturbed and uncertain World of our days, during this period several religions celebrate important festivities and all of them are festivities of Peace and of Love such as:

– Dongzhi Festival in China that celebrates the arrival of the Winter, renders cult to the ancestors and is a festivity of the family;

– The Buddhist celebrate the Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava and also the Amitabha, the celestial Buddha “The Buddha of Immeasurable Life and Light” ;

– The Hindus Celebrate the Gita Jayanti a day that symbolizes the birth of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita the sacred text of the Hindu religion;

– The Juish religion celebrates the Chanukah of the year 6777, which is the celebration of the light over the darkness, the rededication of the Holy Temple, celebrated during 8 days with 8 candles;

– The Muslim celebrate the Eid al-Mawlid an-Nabawī, the Festival of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad;

– The Christian celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ

and the World in general also celebrates the arrival of the New Year of 2017, so, for the above said, we come to wish to all

12-12-16 Kings on Ice show under the patronage of Knights of Malta (KMFAP) in Slovakia

Thanks to the dedicated work of our great Slovakian knight, Sir Peter Lednar – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) and our dear friend, Mr. Milan Jagnesak – along with Jeep car – KMFAP was the main patron of the fantastic “Kings on Ice” shows held in Kosice, Zilina and Zvolen (Slovakia) performed by the extraordinary Figure skater Evgeni Plushenko (four-time Olympic champion, three-time World champion, seven-time European champion) and his very talented team of skater artists as well as the world famous violinist, Edvin Marton playing his priceless Stradivarius.

The performances were advertised on 200 billboards through Slovakia under the patronage of the Knights of Malta (KMFAP). As a noble gesture and generous financial support of Sir Peter and Milan – on the three sites a total of 1000 tickets were donated to those families, who could not afford buying tickets for this unique cultural event. Representing the Order H.G. Prof. George Popper and Lady Anna Popper were present at the fantastic show held at Kosice Ice Arena on the 1st December 2016.

From the demand acts Femraid Texel. Sunday initiator Nico Waerts (KM) organized an introductory meeting with specially invited people in his gym in Den Burg.Femraid Texel covers Femraid Netherlands, which in turn is part of the “Federation of Autonomous priories of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta (KMFAP).” This knighthood has branches all over the world and the approach is very different. KMFAP (and Femeraid) is a global organization that connects people and members and facilitate their humanitarian contributions, local or national. “The Texel role will therefore be very different in a country where humanitarian conditions are different. But on Texel is plenty to do. You can think of undertaking activities with the elderly, a” buddie “for a family or person because it just is not going so well, or helping a fugitive when filling out a form, “Nico Waerts said during the meeting.The strength lies, according to Waerts, in the network. Therefore, he tries to surround himself with people from all different fields, such as accounting, health care and youth work. This creates a huge network”, said one of those present. “This really was an introductory meeting. Soon we come together for concrete plans,” Waerts explains. The gym owner already raised various charities in the past. He was among others involved in the launch of VIP Sports Foundation, the foundation around Larissa Klaassen. Because of his fame abroad, especially through the defense training, he was nominated as a knight of KMFAP. “A great honor, which also brings obligations. 14-11-16 W.M.A FEMERAID AIR RESCUE INTERNATIONAL

Dear Knights and Dames,

we wish to inform you all that from now on our Knights and Dames will receive the weekly medical alerts from FEMERAID AIR RESCUE INTERNATIONAL, so, in case you need to travel abroad, you can have all the necessary information about the precautions that you will have to take before departure and during your stay.

In case you want we can prepare, free of charge, the composition list of a First Aid Travel Kit in accordance with the countries that you are going to visit.
You only have to send an email to our brother knight, Dr. Sir Nuno Cosmelli (nuno.cosmelli@rescueteam.com) and ask for this list indicating the countries that you will visit and for how long you stay there.

On Saturday, 24 October 2015, at the Castle Château Bela in Slovakia, members of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (KMFAP), Knights of Malta, gathered and held a solemn ceremony for the award of the Agreement on Cooperation of this Order with Diplomatic Mission for Peace and Prosperity (DMPP), Tirana Headquarters.
The relevant document was signed at the protocol ceremony from Jose M. Cosmelli Prince, Grand Master of KGC and Dr. Shefki Hysa, Governor of DMPP.
Members of the Sovereign Order in this ceremony accepted unanimously as member Dr. Shefki Hysa, Governor of Diplomatic Mission, Peace and Prosperity, who was honored with the Highest Order by the Prince of Malta and the title of Knight of Malta.

Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity also conferred to His Excellency Sir George Popper the title Honorary Ambassador, High Commissioner for World Peace and the Honoris Cause Doctorate in International Diplomacy on behalf of Academy of Universal Global Peace. In this ceremony was honored by Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity also Sir Tamas Szalai with the title Honorary Consul of DMPP.
